Best Practices: On-site Fitness Classes

Many companies offer on-site fitness classes to get people moving at the office, thus removing one of the barriers to increased activity. While some offices have fitness centers, by no means is that necessary to offer these classes – there are many area groups that can provide these classes, such as Team Adrenaline, as well as instructors from local gyms and health clubs. And if you ask around, you might find you have a coworker who’s certified to teach a yoga or pilates class and can lead a staff session. You certainly don’t need a gym for any of this – just a group willing to get away from the desk and get active.
