President's Council on Fitness

Resources

The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition (PCFSN) works to engage, educate, and empower all Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity. Founded in 1956 under Dwight Eisenhower, the PCFSN has helped to motivate and recognize more than 50 million kids and teens and over a million adults to adopt healthier, more active lifestyles.

The less time you have to spend looking for information, the more time you can spend being active and working with our youth. So, connecting initiatives around RVA with the tools they need to be successful is a big focus for us. We partnered with the Council in 2014 as an official President’s Challenge Advocate  and the PCFSN has pulled together a lot of handy materials to help.

The resources they have are literally too many to list, so be sure to peruse their whole site to find just what you might need.
