Ursula Lemanski, AICP

Ursula has over 28 years of experience in the field of community planning and natural resource management, specifically in areas of trail and greenway planning, water trail and river corridor planning, and community engagement. Ursula has gained a broad perspective from her diverse work experience in federal, state, and local government, as well as the private sector. She has also served on several non-profit Boards including the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail and Friends of the Washington & Old Dominion Trail. For the past 23 years, Ursula has worked for the National Park Service, Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program, leading complex inter-disciplinary conservation and recreation initiatives. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Studies, is a graduate fellow of the University of Virginia, Natural Resources Leadership Institution, and is member of the American Planning Association and American Institute of Certified Planners.
