Dr. Christina Stasiuk joined Cigna full time in 2003 after 14 years of solo practice in internal medicine and clinical consulting. She works closely with employers, health care professionals and other stakeholders to find solutions that improve the quality of health care while controlling costs. She focuses on engaging individuals to help them improve their health.
Dr. Stasiuk is the clinical leader for Cigna’s Health Equity Council, and in 2012 she accepted the Surgeon General’s Medallion on behalf of the Council in recognition of its exceptional achievements that advance the cause of public health and medicine. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Clinical Practice Committee of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Philadelphia Medical Society.
Dr. Stasiuk graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and was named a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Buffalo and a master’s degree in natural sciences from Roswell Park Memorial Institute.
Dr. Christina runs in 5Ks supporting various charitable organizations, including the March of Dimes, the Wildwood Veteran’s Memorial, and Eastern State Penitentiary. She volunteers for organizations such as Lyric Fest and the City of Philadelphia – Medical Reserve Corps. She is eagerly sought out as a speaker to groups about health topics and as a mentor for young men and women.
