Awarding Our Region’s Changemakers

In addition to leaders within our region’s schools and workplaces, there are leaders in nonprofit organizations, in municipal planning offices, at foundations, and in our neighborhoods. At the 2015 luncheon for the first time, we honored these diverse leaders with two new categories -  The Active RVA Infrastructure Award and the Active RVA Changemaker Award. Nominations for these categories for 2016 will be open and competitive!

Regional Fitness Scorecard

As part of the annual Awards program, we release a ‘report card’ on the Richmond region’s health and fitness. We track vital statistics on our rates of chronic disease, physical activity, and active infrastructure. By staying focused on how we’re performing relative to the nation’s most active cities and towns, we can help keep Richmond on track to be at the top of that list.
